Volleyball Recap: Conway's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Conway waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Southwest Trojans.

Conway's offense was headlined by Madison Thompson and Adalee Letterman, who picked up five kills apiece. Letterman really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 11. Thompson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Olivia Hnem, who had 20 digs and three aces. Emily Brooks was another key player, getting four digs and three aces.

Conway's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Southwest, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13-1.

Conway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Blue Eye on the 27th. As for Southwest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Cassville on the 29th.
