Baseball Recap: Indianola Academy Comes Up Short

Indianola Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Marshall Academy Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 on Tuesday.

Indianola Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Marshall Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-7 record this season.

While Indianola Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
