Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kiana Wilburn and Julia Almond Lead Buchholz to Victory

Buchholz's tournament run continued when they took on University Christian on Friday. The Bobcats walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Christians. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Leading Buchholz to victory were Julia Almond and Kiana Wilburn. Almond had three digs and two aces, while Wilburn had four digs and four aces. That's the most aces Wilburn has posted over her last eight matches.

Buchholz's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for University Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

Buchholz didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Stanton on the 4th. As for University Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Menendez on the 4th.
