Softball Recap: The Pingry School Wins Going Away Against Bernards

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask The Pingry School). They were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Bernards Mountaineers on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for The Pingry School and bumps their season record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Bernards, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Pingry School will host DePaul Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bernards, they will be playing at home against North Hunterdon at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
