Football Recap: North Edgecombe Warriors vs. Warren County Eagles
Saturday just wasn't the day for North Edgecombe's offense. They had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Warren County Eagles. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row dating back to last season.
North Edgecombe's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Warren County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
North Edgecombe will challenge Wilson Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Wilson Prep focused on turnovers this week as team gave up six on Friday. As for Warren County, they will stay at home for another week and welcome Rocky Mount Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Warren County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 point or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Rocky Mount Prep likes a good challenge.
