Volleyball Recap: Rock Hill Blue Hawks vs. Allen Eagles
Rock Hill had lost three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 7-10 to make it four. They came up short against the Allen Eagles, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Hawks of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.
As for Allen, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 15th (when they won 3-0).
Allen's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Campbell Sheffield, who had eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces Sheffield has posted over her last six contests. Maddie Parrott also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.
Rock Hill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Little Elm on the 29th. As for Allen, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Dripping Springs on the 28th.
