Baseball Recap: Buhl Takes a Loss

Buhl and Fruitland squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Buhl had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 4-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 back in March.

Buhl saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Craner, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Buhl's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Fruitland, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 25-0.

While Buhl had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
