Recap: Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors vs. Thornwood Thunderbirds
The Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 30 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Thornwood 58-19 on the road. The win was just what Hammond Bishop Noll needed coming off of a 58-37 loss in their prior game.
Hammond Bishop Noll's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Adrian Mcgee led the charge by scoring 19 points along with six rebounds. Mcgee is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinn Fehr, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Hammond Bishop Noll has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Thornwood, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Homestead the next time they take the court. Hammond Bishop Noll will head out to face Homestead at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Thornwood will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
