Football Game Preview: Seabreeze Sandcrabs vs. Mainland Buccaneers + Official Tickets

Seabreeze hasn't had much luck against Mainland recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Sandcrabs will welcome the Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Seabreeze is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Pine Ridge 28-7 on Friday. The Sandcrabs' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

JEREMIAS GEORGE was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 80 yards and three scores on only five carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Mainland against Belleview on Friday as the squad secured a 50-6 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-6.

Mainland's win came from a few key players Seabreeze will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Sebastian Johnson, who threw for 243 yards and three TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Kadin Flores, who picked up 106 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Mainland has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.8 points on average over those games. As for Seabreeze, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
