Basketball Recap: Woods Charter Starts Season with Win Against the Hawbridge School

Woods Charter had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against The Hawbridge School Herons by a score of 59-48. Things were looking grim for the Wolves in the third quarter (they were down by 25) but they stormed back to get the matchup.

When it comes to explaining why The Hawbridge School lost, don't look at Noah Snyder. Despite the final result, he posted 22 points.

Coming up, Woods Charter will face off against Neuse Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for The Hawbridge School, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-39 loss against Commission Leadership Academy on the 11th.
