Basketball Recap: Lennard's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Lennard needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Richard Sykes. The Lennard Longhorns came out on top against the Hillsborough Terriers by a score of 66-59 on Friday thanks in part to Sykes, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Lennard's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Hillsborough, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lennard will host King at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hillsborough, they will be playing at home against Gaither at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillsborough is facing Gaither at the right time seeing as Gaither is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
