Palm Valley has no trouble against Desert Chapel

Recap: Palm Valley FIREBIRDS vs. Desert Chapel Eagles
Even though the Palm Valley FIREBIRDS have not done well against the Desert Chapel Eagles recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Palm Valley took down Desert Chapel 50-32. Winning may never get old, but Palm Valley sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Palm Valley found their leader in underclassman Matteo Lam, who scored 20 points along with six assists. Alex Ratner was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 17 rebounds.
Palm Valley's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Desert Chapel, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Palm Valley will head out on the road to face off against Noli Indian at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Desert Chapel, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Weaver at 3:30 p.m.
