Basketball Recap: Berean Academy Takes a Loss

Berean Academy lost against Moundridge back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Berean Academy Warriors took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Moundridge Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 74th, while the Wildcats are ranked 11th).

Berean Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-4-1. As for Moundridge, the win keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berean Academy will take on Bennington at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Bennington's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. Moundridge has already played their next contest (against Marion), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
