Skaneateles managed to keep up with Christian Brothers Academy until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Lakers came up short against the Brothers, falling 3-0. Skaneateles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Christian Brothers Academy earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Skaneateles' loss dropped their record down to 6-4-2. As for Christian Brothers Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Skaneateles and Christian Brothers Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. The Lakers (ranked 33rd) will meet Homer (ranked 370th) at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Christian Brothers Academy will take on Solvay at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (127 vs. 299).
