Basketball Recap: Konawaena Falls Short of 'Iolani in the Playoffs

Konawaena and 'Iolani squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Konawaena had to settle for second. They fell just short of the 'Iolani Raiders by a score of 43-40. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now lost eight in a row.

Konawaena's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for 'Iolani, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-9.

Konawaena wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 40-27 win against Campbell on the 8th. As for 'Iolani, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 40-34 defeat against Kamehameha Kapalama on the 8th.
