Baseball Recap: Jellico Blue Devils vs. Lynn Camp Wildcats

Jellico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 14-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lynn Camp Wildcats. Even if the Blue Devils couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Jellico got a massive performance out of Adam Haskell, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Haskell also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Mason Metcalf, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two RBI.
