David Crockett came tearing into Thursday's match with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their contest with ease, bagging an 83-32 win over the South Greene Rebels. With the Pioneers ahead 54-16 at the half, the game was all but over already.

David Crockett got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brylee Tullock out in front who went 8-for-10 on her way to 24 points and five boards. That's the most points Tullock has posted since back in December of 2024. Aaliyah Story was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds.

David Crockett smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in three consecutive matches.

David Crockett pushed their record up to 26-3 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.2 points over those games. As for South Greene, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. David Crockett will host Sullivan East at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. David Crockett is facing Sullivan East at the right time seeing as Sullivan East is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for South Greene, they will take on Johnson County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
