Basketball Recap: Tehachapi Comes Up Short

After flying high against East Bakersfield last Wednesday, Tehachapi came back down to earth. The Tehachapi Warriors were beaten by the North Stars 89-41 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Stars: they've now lost seven in a row.

Tehachapi's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for North, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.

Tehachapi and North should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Tehachapi (ranked 562nd) will meet West (ranked 1321st) at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, North will face off against Frontier at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday up 303 places (181 vs. 484).
