Volleyball Recap: Alliance Comes Up Short

Alliance lost against Minerva back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Aviators fell 3-1 to the Lions.

Veda Lyons paced Alliance's offense, picking up ten kills. Lyons got some help from Kiersten White and her 25 assists.

Alliance has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Minerva, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Coming up, Alliance will head out to square off against Marlington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Minerva, they will head out on the road to face off against Sandy Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
