Baseball Recap: Meridian Comes Up Short

Meridian and Eagle squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Meridian had to settle for second. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 12-0. The Warriors' loss continues a trend for the team, making it 19 in a row.

Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Eagle, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-9.

Meridian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eagle, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Timberline at 6:00 p.m.
