Como-Pickton extended their winning streak to 13 on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 19-7 in the process. They blew past the Maud Cardinals 16-5. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 15 contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

As for Maud, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-7. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

For Maud's part, Tori Loyed made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Audrey Hillis, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Como-Pickton will have a chance to go back-to-back against Maud: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
