Volleyball Game Preview: Mt. Bethel Christian Academy Eagles vs. Wesleyan Wolves

The Mt. Bethel Christian Academy Eagles will take on the Wesleyan Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Mt. Bethel Christian Academy is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Mount Pisgah Christian just ended the team's six-match winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the Patriots. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered since October 8, 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Wesleyan came up short against Mount Paran Christian on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost eight in a row.

While Wesleyan was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-10, 25-15.

Wesleyan's loss dropped their record down to 23-11. As for Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 28-19.

Mt. Bethel Christian Academy beat Wesleyan 2-0 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
