Prescott had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They never let the Platteville Hillmen get on the board and left with a 10-0 win.

Prescott pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Platteville, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Prescott beat the Hillmen by a score of 13-6 later that day.
