Wesleyan Christian scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Deer Creek, 42-20. At the time, the Eagles was ranked 18th in the state, while Wesleyan Christian was 44th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Rodney Clark's team, who took down 18th ranked Deer Creek, 42-20.
Bluejacket's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Chieftains feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. TK Francis has thrown for 1546 yards and 20 touchdowns this season, while Dylan Collins has 34 catches for 549 yards. Dylan Anderson leads the league in rushing with 651 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Cherokee and the Eagles. The Chiefs comes into the matchup ranked sixth in the state, while Deer Creek ranks 24th.
Cherokee extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Claremore Christian, 52-6. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
