After flying high against Lake Worth last Tuesday, Tradition Prep came back down to earth. The Pirates fell 8-5 to the South Fork Bulldogs on Thursday. The Pirates' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Tradition Prep saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Sanabria, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Tradition Prep now has a losing record of 8-9. As for South Fork, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-11.

Tradition Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Fork, they will take on Seminole Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
