Softball Recap: Mount Everett Regional Eagles vs. Gateway Regional Gators
Mount Everett Regional won the last time they faced Gateway Regional and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Gators 15-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since April 4, 2025.
Ashelen Cutlip made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and ten unearned) runs off eight hits. Cutlip was even better at the plate, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with six RBI, one stolen base, and one double.
