While Summit put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Oak Knoll. The Hilltoppers put the hurt on the Royals with a sharp 11-0 win. The Hilltoppers haven't had any issues with the Royals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Hannah Jacobson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Jacobson was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three runs.

In other batting news, Juliana Alicea was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Caroline Putnam, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Summit's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Summit will face off against Kent Place at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Knoll, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Union Catholic at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
