Basketball Recap: Aberdeen Central Comes Up Short

Aberdeen Central lost against Pierre T.F. Riggs back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles fell 62-51 to the Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors. The Golden Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Aberdeen Central's record now sits at 2-9. As for Pierre T.F. Riggs, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Aberdeen Central and Pierre T.F. Riggs could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps South Dakota Rankings. Aberdeen Central (ranked 99th) will meet Washington (ranked 21st) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Pierre T.F. Riggs will square off against Harrisburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 56 places (66 vs. 10).
