On Tuesday Plymouth will have to hit the road after four straight games at home. They will venture away from home to square off against the Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. After both made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
While Plymouth didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-10-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on East Chicago Central with a sharp 10-1 win on Saturday. With the Pilgrims/Rockies ahead 7-1 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Meanwhile, Elkhart Christian Academy's matchup on Saturday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. Their defense stepped up to hand Central Noble a 3-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.
