Baseball Game Preview: Crystal Springs Tigers vs. Franklin County Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Crystal Springs will face off against Franklin County. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Crystal Springs is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 13 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Franklin County on Friday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 10-2. The Tigers have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

For Franklin County's part, they let Paden Arnold and Jarvis Tillman run wild. Arnold went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base, while Tillman went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those two hits gave Arnold a new career-high. Judson Arnold was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

With the win, Franklin County broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-10. As for Crystal Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
