Recap: Washington Eagles vs. Furr Brahmans
The Washington Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Furr 77-18 on the road. Washington has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 21 points or more this season.
Washington got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Danaya Pope out in front who scored 21 points. Pope hasn't dropped below 15 points for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendyl Harvey, who scored 21 points.
Washington has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. As for Furr, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Washington will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Yates at 10:00 a.m. on January 30th. Yates will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. As for Furr, they will head out on the road to square off against Worthing at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
