Mt. Markham lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Dolgeville, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's game. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 9-3 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Owen Jones was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenneth Craig, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Mt. Markham is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Dolgeville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8-1.

Coming up, Mt. Markham will face off against Herkimer at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Dolgeville has already played their next game (against Hamilton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
