Volleyball Recap: Sheboygan Falls Comes Up Short

Sheboygan Falls lost against Luxemburg-Casco back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Falcons fell 2-0 to the Spartans. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Natalie Nickolai paced Sheboygan Falls' offense, picking up three kills. Nickolai got some help from Abigail Beaumont and her seven assists.

Leading Luxemburg-Casco to victory were Alayna Deprez and Danica Bartels. Deprez had 15 assists, while Bartels had ten digs. Those ten digs gave Bartels a new career-high. Alayna Heurkens also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Sheboygan Falls' loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Luxemburg-Casco, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

Sheboygan Falls has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Notre Dame Academy on the 6th. As for Luxemburg-Casco, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against West De Pere on the 6th.
