The Lowell Devils will head out to face off against North Douglas at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Lowell is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.6 runs per game this season.

Lowell fell victim to Umpqua Valley Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Monarchs, falling 10-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Devils were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, North Douglas fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Country Christian on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2.

Lowell's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-3. As for North Douglas, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Lowell beat North Douglas 8-4 in their previous meeting back in March of 2022. Will the Devils repeat their success, or do North Douglas have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
