Soccer Game Preview: Gateway Charter vs. East Lee County

The Gateway Charter Griffins will square off against the East Lee County Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Gateway Charter is looking for their season's first win.

On Tuesday, Gateway Charter didn't have quite enough to beat South Fort Myers and fell 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Griffins have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in December of 2024, East Lee County was forced to settle for a draw on Monday. They and Moore Haven finished up their game with a 1-1 draw.

East Lee County's goal came courtesy of Tatiana Najarro, who's now up to four this season.

Gateway Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10-2. With that draw, East Lee County's record moves to 2-11-2.
