Basketball Recap: Lindhurst Comes Up Short

Lindhurst was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 64-22 loss at the hands of the Westlake Charter Explorers. If the Blazers were looking for revenge after losing 73-23 to the Explorers when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lindhurst's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Westlake Charter, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Lindhurst and Hamilton will face off at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for Westlake Charter, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Woodland Christian at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
