Soccer Game Preview: Sunnyside vs. Wenatchee

The Sunnyside Grizzlies will head out on the road to take on the Wenatchee Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Sunnyside and Davis meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 2-1. Sunnyside's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Wenatchee's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 4-2 to Eisenhower. Wenatchee's loss didn't just snap their winning streak: it also ended the team's undefeated season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wenatchee fell to 5-1. As for Sunnyside, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-1.
