Softball Recap: Trabuco Hills Takes a Loss

Trabuco Hills easily dispatched Capistrano Valley Christian last Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Trabuco Hills fell just short of Shadow Ridge by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, Trabuco Hills couldn't push the score so high this time.

Trabuco Hills has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season. Shadow Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Trabuco Hills will take on Douglas in a tournament on Thursday. Douglas is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season. As for Shadow Ridge, they will face off against Lehi at 9:50 a.m. on Thursday. Lehi also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 9.2 runs per game.
