Greater Johnstown unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 27-6 to the Chestnut Ridge Lions on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Ranson Goggans threw for 48 yards on nine of 29 attempts. Stephon Hill-Goodman was his top target, picking up 52 receiving yards.

Jayden Imler had a dynamite game For Chestnut Ridge., rushing for 108 yards and one touchdown. Those 108 rushing yards gave Imler a new career-high.
