Soccer Recap: Colonial Christian Starts off Right with Win over Heartland Christian

Colonial Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Heartland Christian Saints 13-2. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 8-2.

Colonial Christian's offense was hitting Heartland Christian from everywhere, as nine different players booted in a goal. Connor Cavanaugh led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Coincidentally, Colonial Christian and Heartland Christian will both be playing Indiana Christian Academy the next time they take the pitch. The Cougars will host the Whirlwinds at 5:45 p.m. on Friday, while the Saints will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
