Softball Game Preview: Bolingbrook Raiders vs. Oak Forest Bengals

The Bolingbrook Raiders will take on the Oak Forest Bengals at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Bolingbrook has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 3rd.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Bolingbrook's offense. They lost 9-0 to Minooka on Thursday.

Bolingbrook saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karina Choi, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Choi has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Oak Forest, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against Evergreen Park by a score of 4-1 on Thursday.

Oak Forest pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Bolingbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
