Volleyball Recap: Pueblo Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Pueblo Central was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Fountain Valley on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Pueblo County Hornets on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost nine in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-21, 25-13.

Maile Morita paced Pueblo Central's offense, picking up five kills. Morita got some help from Natalie Alfonso and her 12 assists. Ashlynn Saenz controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Pueblo Central's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Pueblo County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pueblo Central will challenge rival Pueblo South at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pueblo County is set to face off against their familiar foe Pueblo East at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
