While West Bladen's victory against Red Springs wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights skirted past the Red Devils 4-3. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by just one run.

Marlene Crabtree spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits.

At the plate, West Bladen secured the win behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Brenna Hester, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

West Bladen is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Red Springs, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

West Bladen will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Red Devils: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
