Tenino was forced to take a big defeat against they on Tuesday, they got the better of them on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Elma Eagles. The Beavers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

Jack Burkhardt made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over 6.2 innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Austin Gonia, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Another player making a difference was Leland White, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Tenino's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Elma, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-9-1.

Tenino will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair will be back at it again later today.
