Soccer Recap: St. Charles East Comes Up Short

After flying high against Normal University on Saturday, St. Charles East came back down to earth. The Fighting Saints came up short against the Lake Park Lancers on Tuesday, falling 4-0.

St. Charles East's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1-2 and their overall record down to 8-4-3. As for Lake Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-3 record this season.

St. Charles East didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Rockford East on the 2nd. As for Lake Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Glenbard North on the 2nd.
