Basketball Recap: Fairfield Makes It Nine in a Row at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Vincent-St. Mary, Fairfield was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They secured a 52-47 W over the Sycamore Aviators. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Aviators are ranked 257th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fairfield pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.1 points per game. As for Sycamore, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
