Mountain View had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 13-12 win over the Pomona Panthers. The victory was familiar territory for the Mountain Lions, who have now won 14 contests in a row.

The critical scores for Mountain View came from Charly Schuster-Moore and Hayden Ramberg.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Mountain View's defense and their four sacks. Pomona's QB won't forget Ellie Roberts anytime soon given she sacked her twice. Roberts has been hot recently, having posted at least one sack the last four times she's played.

Mountain View's win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Pomona, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 16-2 record.

Coming up, Mountain View will face off against The Classical Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Mountain Lions 7.9, the Titans 10.6) so any points scored will be well earned. Pomona does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
