Football Game Preview: St. Mary's Crusaders vs. Culver Bulldogs

The St. Mary's Crusaders will venture away from home to square off against the Culver Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Mary's will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.

St. Mary's took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Illinois Valley 60-28. The Crusaders' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, after only 12 points in their last contest, Culver made sure to put some points up on the board against Bonanza on Thursday. The Bulldogs breezed past the Antlers to the tune of 56-14. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Antlers are ranked 54th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Culver's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for St. Mary's, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
