Baseball Recap: Central Catholic's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Central Catholic put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Seneca Valley Raiders. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 7-5 victory the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2022.

The team relied heavily on CJ Proch, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Gelpi, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Central Catholic's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Seneca Valley, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Central Catholic will have a chance to go back-to-back against Seneca Valley: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
