Softball Recap: Linden Wins Going Away Against Midland

While Linden put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Midland. The Eagles blew past the Chemics 8-0.

Not much got past Kayla Widner (2025), who gave up just a hit and racked up 17 Ks to keep Midland off the board.

At the plate, Linden let Addi Siegwald (2027) and Sophia Helm (2025) run wild. Siegwald (2027) scored two runs while going 3-for-4, while Helm (2025) scored a run while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Ella Kenyon (2025), who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Linden now has a winning record of 2-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Midland beat the Eagles by a score of 6-4 later that day.
